These are pictures from our lovely stroll in the village:

I had to include this video. I mean, seriously. Energy, much? Look at them go! And is James not insane with that stroller? For my birthday, we went out with friends Saturday night to Tahoe Joe's (ones of my favorites) and had a great time. I then spent the day of my birth enjoying my sweet hub home with us-- my darling friend brought me delish (and I do mean delish) s'more cookies which basically consisted of melted chocolate and marshmallows sandwiched between tasty peanut butter cookies. I know, yummy, right? We went shopping for awhile and I even got to go see the handsome Toyota maintenance guy who I have an established crush on, which was a real treat. Then we took ourselves to all-you-can-eat pizza at Klondike's Tuesday evening with my parental unit fresh off the plane from Texas, and afterwards walked off the pounds (right) strolling through the delightful village and crossing the swinging bridge to explore the gazebo and Heritage park. I had made a decadent chocolate cake with cream-cheese chocolate frosting (recipe found here some night while sifting through blogs) which we all sampled with a scoop of vanilla ice-cream, after the birthday chorus was sung and candles blown out. My birthday was complete the following day, when I found a package in the mail for me from my in-laws in Logan with the super cutest bright, pinky-orange shirt. When I excitedly opened the parcel (in the car, seconds after retrieving it from the mailbox, mind you), James piped up from the back seat, "it's your color Mommy, it's so pretty!" So there you have it. A very happy birthday celebration.
Now on to being 27!

That is a cute picture of you and dad! How fun. And yes, the energy level is about the same in this household of crazy children. And, mine is 6.5 years old, soooo, yea.
