...children should help out around the house. So in honor of that, I set the children to work vacuuming the couch. They pulled all the pillows off, which turned into a let's jump off the couch onto the pillows on the floor game, but that's okay. They had a grand old flag time and my couch is miraculously clean. All is well.

James incessantly asks to push the vacuum, or in some way help, every time it emerges from closet. This time I figured, why not? Why not let him run the hose along the couch. Something might actually get clean from it. And there's not much harm he can do to the couch, it is made out of microfiber suede. That is supposed to be durable, right? So, here they are. Annabelle even got in on the action, and she is usually rather timid when it comes to vacuums. Not this time.
