MERRY CHRISTMAS!
I am so grateful for the sweet baby who was born long ago. He came to this earth, and taught us how to live. How to be kind and loving and righteous. He gave love and service to those around him.

And He gave His life for us.

Tonight, as we sat down to a yummy meal, Jamie said our prayer. He said:
"Bless all of our family that they will be safe.
Bless us that we can be good.
Thank you for Jesus' birth and it was so beautiful.
Help Santa that he can come to our house and that we can be happy and have fun.
And bless a happy Christmas to everybody."

Then we sang Christmas carols together as a family. Adam played his trumpet and the children "played" along on their little toy piano.
I love the words in these verses:

"How silently, how silently the wondrous gift is giv'n!
So God imparts to human hearts the blessings of his heav'n.
No ear may hear his coming; but in this world of sin,
Where meek souls will receive him, still the dear Christ enters in."
O Little Town of Bethlehem, verse 3

"Be near me Lord Jesus, I ask thee to stay.
Close by me forever, and love me I pray.
Bless all the dear children in thy tender care
And fit us for heaven to live with thee there."
Away In A Manger, verse 3

Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!

I thought I had already commented... I love the pictures of everyone. Your house looks beautiful, and we really enjoyed visiting and seeing all of you. My kids are going to miss playing with your fun kiddos too!
