Birthday Celebrations:

On my birthday, my mom and grandma took me to brunch. I tried to have a really good time, but the kids decided to act super crazy in the restaurant. You know like climbing over the back of our booth, falling down under the table and making all sorts of racket. It was horrible! They are usually pretty well behaved when we take them out, but not this time. I asked them why they were being so naughty and they said "because daddy's not here!" which is so not funny. Anyhow. Despite the children's attempts to thwart our good time, us ladies still enjoyed ourselves and the tasty food. James and I took Anna to dance class that afternoon, then when we came home Adam was barbecuing tri-tip and making dinner for me. My mom and grandma came over to watch American Idol, eat dinner, and to celebrate with us! What a fun birthday!

Saturday night we left the children with a babysitter and went to Tahoe Joe's with my parents. Tahoe Joe's is basically the most delicious food ever. Steak, potatoes, sourdough rolls, baby greens salad, fudge and whipped cream topped cheesecake.... oh my heart delights! Here are Adam and I:

Then later after my parents took Katie home for us, we sat on the couch and watched super uplifting shows on TV like SVU and some random 90's movie called Pie in the Sky. When we got tired of that, we entertained ourselves taking pictures:
