A Time Well Had

Last weekend, we flew to Utah to visit Adam's parents. We arrived on Thursday and left on Monday morning. We had a grand time! The children were very good during the flights. Here are Annabelle and James on the way there:
Reading the flight safety information.

Strapping herself in.

Cooling off with the fan.

Sitting comfortably and quietly like a nice little girl.

As always, making face contortions.

Cooling himself with the fan.

Adam and his dad went fishing and boating down the Green River on Thursday and Friday. And I had fun shopping and spending time with my mother-in-law. Adam's brother, Chris, has three little girls whom Annabelle took to right away and the cousins had a great time playing all weekend long.

After the boys returned from fishing, we spent Saturday and Sunday night having family dinners, watching Young Victoria (oh my heart!), and chatting. The cinnamon rolls made by Chris were so delicious. In fact, all the food was oh so delicious...

Chris' wife, Maren, and I.

Two things to mention about this picture: doesn't Chris look like Lee from this season of American Idol? And don't Adam and his brother look alot alike? They could be twins, but nope Chris is two and a half years older.

We made an attempt at a nice picture of all of us. These all have something funny with them, but turned out alright anyhow. What a cute bunch!
(This one is entitled: "Fat Livy")

(Chris and Maren kissing, ooh la la!)

(James and Natalie are the culprits in this otherwise fine picture)

We woke up to snow all over the yard on Sunday morning! James insisted upon going outside in his pajamas to play in the snow a.k.a. eat the snow:

Adam and I took our children on the ATV's up the mountains on Sunday afternoon. The mountains were covered in snow, and the valley was green. It was gorgeous!!

Utah is one of my favorite places!!
