We have been rather busy the past week getting ready for pretty much the most exciting event ever. My brother James is coming home from serving a two year mission in Brazil!! He flies in on Thursday and we are going to be partying all weekend.
James is one of my favorite people in all the world. I was six years old when he was born and my sister was nine, and we felt for sure that he was our very own baby doll. We have missed him so, so much while he's been gone.
To get ready for his homecoming, we have been:
1. making t-shirts for the children to wear at the airport
2. painting "welcome home" signs to greet him when he arrives
3. stocking the fridge and cabinets with some of his favorite foods that he couldn't find in Brazil.
4. cleaning the house and getting his bedroom ready
5. counting down the days with the kiddos-- they are beyond excited!
Hoorah!
