A couple of weeks ago, we drove east in search of snow. About near Mount Abel, we found a little. It was mostly melted and turning into great globs of mud, but there was just enough to scoop some up and make snow balls out of. James slid down the hill on our boogie board which we used as a makeshift sled. We are from the beach after all.
We ate a picnic lunch and even happened to meet up with my parents on their way home from Utah!
James loving the snow!
Anna and I and James eating snow behind us, goofy boy.
I told you it was muddy! This is the condition my shoes were in after walking through the slush!
The children really want to play in the snow for real, so we hope to make it up to Yosemite really soon. We have to hurry, spring is here already! But if not, there is always next year!

I LOVE Mount Abel. We used to go there when I was a kid for some fast fun in the snow.
But GURRRRLLLLL...are you CRAZY? Why on earth would you wear those shoes? It's SNOW. Go to Walmart and get some boots for $10!!!
