Easter 2011 came at the close of a rather emotional week. Sickness, loss, celebration.... all in a few short days. After all that the week had dealt us, we were happy to enjoy a quiet, sweet day filled with darling children, good food, and loving family. Kristen's family came for the weekend, and Uncle James arrived home from BYU Saturday evening. He pulled up in front of our house at the same time as we were coming home from dinner out, and the kids rolled down all their windows and shouted, "Hi Uncle James!!" over and over. We were all thrilled to see him!
As you can see, the Easter bunny brought eggs to hunt for and treats to devour. And after church, we had a yummy dinner together. What a beautiful day!
