Perhaps The Best Day Ever:

A couple weeks ago, we met Adam in Avila after work with a random list of ideas in mind to fill our afternoon.
And somehow, we managed to do all of them.

We rode the hayride at Avila Barn to pick apples & get some flavored honey sticks.
We went up to San Luis & showed the kids around Cal Poly: we walked the trails at the gardens, visited the library, & checked out Adam's departments brand-new building. When we walked by the studio where I took dance, Adam told the kids about how he used to see me outside of it & even though we barely knew each other then, we'd smile & talk. Because we were meant to be, remember :)?
Then we got ambitious & hiked to the "P" on the hill above Poly. Shockingly enough, I made it! It actually was not a bad hike & the view was well worth it.
And to top off our perfect afternoon, we ate at Tahoe Joe's.

Everything just seemed to work out. The kids didn't fight & were super cooperative, which was a miracle. It was such a fun afternoon!
