We started out this wonderful month of celebrations with the Arroyo Grande Christmas Parade. Such fun!
There were, of course, Christmas parties at church. At our ward party, the Bishopric played some songs on the bells, my activity day girls sang a song while I accompanied them on the piano, & the primary children sang for everyone. It was really very sweet.
I'm the leader of the activity day girls at church, and this month we discussed Jesus & some of the different names he's known by. We made dove ornaments with his name engraved on them for the girls to hang on their Christmas trees at home. We also decorated graham cracker gingerbread houses with gallons of candy & sugar frosting!
And then we had to make our own at home:
Some Cal Poly basketball & some crazy shoppers!
