The children's school puts together many outings & field trips to supplement what they are learning in the classroom. Literally every week it seems, there is another opportunity to go see & do something. One such opportunity was to go to Medieval Times in Buena Park (right by Knott's Berry Farm). The children have been studying Medieval History all school year, so this was perfect for them & we all loved it! They put on a great lunch and show with live horses & a jousting tournament.
On our way home, we went to the Griffith Observatory in LA. We saw the planetarium & enjoyed all the science exhibits. It was all about earth & space which is exactly what the kids have been learning about in science this year!
What a beautiful drive down through the hills leaving the Observatory...
