While We're On the Subject of Adam...

Adam was called & confirmed as Bishop of our  Arroyo Grande Ward on June 2, 2019. 

<<these are not pics from the day, just at church in the past couple months>>

We were surrounded by wonderful family & friends who came to be with us. Feelings of inadequacy & nervousness melted away to peace as I walked into the chapel & saw them all sitting there. Adam & I were buoyed up & felt the love of those both near & far whose thoughts & prayers were with us that day. 
Adam's brother Jason & wife Melissa, niece Jessie & her family, his parents, my dad (my mom was visiting my sister in Texas), my brother James & wife Taylor & baby girl Ensley, and our good friends Dave & Christina & their little girl Addie, all came to help support us. 

Adam's dad, father in law, nephew in law, brother in law, and brother all put their hands on his head & blessed him to have strength & fortitude to fulfill this calling. The Spirit was so strong in the room. I believe with all my heart in the power of the Priesthood, that blessing, and am grateful for these men of God. 

What a beautiful, special day for our family.
