Hmmm....
There is this girl I know. She and I get along, and I think we could be good friends, but she is so busy trying to be the super coolest person ever (do you know what I mean?), that she does rude things and hurts peoples feelings. It is sad.
I can't tell if she is truly a nice person, and just feels the need to put on this facade of coolness... or if she is truly a snot and can just "be nice" sometimes. I don't know.
But, for some reason she really bugs me. Her actions should not affect my attitude, and I don't know why I let them. But anyway. I am in the dumps because she just did a really rude thing, and then puts it all over her blog, making it look like she's so great and talented and creative. Awesome. I fear that really she is just an unthoughtful, self-possessed person. And I wish it weren't so. I wish her friendly, nice side were prevalent and we could be real friends.
Any suggestions? Tell me, am I being judgmental?
Is it judgmental to notice when someone has hurt other's feelings?
