I am feeling homesick today.

How can I feel homesick when I live in my home-town, you ask? Well, I am feeling homesick for my sister and brother.

My sis lives far away in Texas with her husband Kevin-the-Pediatrician and her three scrumptious children Jordan, Meg-alicious, and Miss Kimberly. They are way too cute! My sister and I have a really good time together-- talking on the couch while our little ones play and watching movies until late hours. She is super fun and really, really nice.

My brother is on his mission in Brazil right now. He is super far away. He has been gone almost a year (in August) and I miss him. I miss his laugh and his hilarious personality and his kindness and understanding. He understands everything, and always takes my side. He wouldn't let dumb people who hurt feelings get to me (I'd love to tell the stories but since this is public I must refrain). He would tell me it's not that big of a deal.

The good news is that my sis is moving here in about a month. Her husband is doing a fellowship at Stanford, and they will be residing just a few short hours away from here. I can't wait!

And my brother will be home soon. Just about a year and a couple months to go.

And then we can all have fun again.

But for now, I miss them.

Awe, Oliva, you have such a wonderful family. I know what's it like to miss those you love. I guess it just makes the time we spend with them sweeter.

We miss you too! I can't believe we are going to be there in just a few short weeks. It has gone by fast, but I do know that there are times when I wish I could see you. It has been too long since we have lived somewhat close by. Only 3 more weeks Liv!

Olivia! It's me! Your long-lost childhood best friend! I have today off work so I spent, oh, I don't know, a few hours perusing your blog. You have such beautiful children and your personality seems as vibrant and fabulous as I recall. I honestly think the last time I saw you was at your bridal shower. (If I recall, I couldn't make it to your wedding reception.) Sad, huh?

Well, through the wonders of the internet, we can reconnect!
