Happy Mother's Day!

I love the sweet woman who gave me life, my own excellent mom. She is really quite wonderful.

(not to mention the sugars that made me a mama. They are simply the best and I am in love with them.)

And to the lady who's responsible for my cutie-pie husband. I would have to say she did a fantastic job in raising him. Well done!

I know this is not the best picture to show off my mommy-in-law, but there is something about it that I really love.

It has been a happy weekend-- went to dinner with my mommy and my little girl on Friday night to Tahoe Joe's (where else?) while the boys were camping; stayed up late watching Australia with my mom after Anna went to bed, only to have her wake up the instant we fell asleep at 2:45a.m. and chitter-chatter at us all night long in bed refusing to go back to sleep, ah!; having a good visit and talk-about with friends of ours while children played until late hours Saturday night; getting a call from my sis and wishing each other a happy mother's day and chatting about all things good, including her baby girl taking her first steps; and finally, waiting for my darling brother's call today from Brazil and Adam volunteering to go to church and not only teach his Sunday School lesson, but then teach my lesson to the Sunbeam's so that I might stay home and talk to my brother. What a guy and what a lovely weekend. I am so grateful for all the wonderful examples of motherhood I have been blessed to know throughout my life, and I'm wishing you a very happy mother's day. And now, goodnight!

I know, I keep meaning to make some for Miss Anna, but haven't gotten to it yet. You must come down when you move here and sew some with me!
