Dedicated to the Purple Stroller

I bought this stroller from Wal Mart as my sister and I were rushing to the airport in San Antonio at like 11:45 for a flight that left at 12:30 on my last visit to Texas before she moved here to California. Of course we were rushing, of course we were late, and of course I still needed to pop into Wal Mart. Right?

We were frantically driving along the freeway, when my sister and I remembered that I'd forgotten any carrying device at all to put Annabelle in! Which is so convenient to have in an airport especially when travelling alone, and it had been this terrible embarassment/catastrophic experience on the way there without anything to strap her into.

And so we decided we had to stop at Wal Mart and get one of those super awesome cheapy umbrella strollers I swore I'd never buy, but has turned out to be Annabelle's most cherished posession since it is purple and she can force her brother to give her rides in it.

It was a rather lovely purchase, in fact: for $12.00, she was safe and contained in the airport, I had some peace of mind, and she even took a nap in it during our layover. And now she plays with it on a daily basis-- banging it into all of our freshly painted walls in our new house and screaming at the top of her lungs when her brother steals it and darts away with it to ram it into more walls with a force she could never muster. Ahh yes, good times.

So here is what the children did while I cooked up some dinner upon arriving home from church last Sunday. Yes, I made dinner with Adam in mind. And yes, it involved mashed potatoes, homemade gravy, and chicken which is his favorite. Annabelle begs Jamie to push her in the stroller. And he complies, which is amazing.

Up the hill. So hard.

Huhuhuh. Panting.

So tired. Must rest my weary feet.

Hey brother, where did you go? Push me some more!

Those are cute pics, especailly the one of James pooped out and Anna looking behind her wondering what is going on with her ride.
