Slippin' and Slidin'

As we perused the aisles of Target on an unusually hot Friday, Adam came across this delightful little thing: a slip and slide!!!

And we spent all Saturday afternoon playing in our backyard:






Neither Adam or I had a slip and slide when we were children. How is that possible, you ask, when those were super popular in the eighties right when you were growing up? Well now, I don't know. But let me tell you, this is more fun than a barrel of monkeys. I sat comfortably on the patio, sunning my legs (worthless endeavor for me anyways, I don't tan no matter what), but I couldn't resist any longer and had to try it out too! Sadly, no pictures were taken of that beautiful moment :).
