We watched Legend of Sleepy Hollow (the 1940's animated one that Bing Crosby narrated) in the afternoon while getting Peter Pan and Tinkerbell dressed and ready to go. Then I took the children out trick-or-treating in our neighborhood while Adam stayed home and watched the game/passed out candy. There were five 13 year old-ish boys running around my neighborhood in nothing but Depends diapers. All the boys had on shorts underneath, except one who apparently did not get the memo because he was bare-bottomed as you can be. Oh dear.
Then we packed it up and went to my parents for the witches stew that my mom has been making every year on Halloween night since I was a little girl. We had fun taking the children around their neighborhood for more candy and to visit with the neighbors. Then it was off to the bed for the kiddos, and we showed all the Raising Hope episodes on hulu to my parents. Adam and I love that show, it is super funny.
