As you might have guessed, I really like Disneyland. There is something for everyone at the magical kingdom. Whether you're into an amazing fireworks show and a flying Tinkerbell, beating the highest score in Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters, zooming through space on Space Mountain, meeting real live princesses, being awed by the talented Billy Hill and the Hillbillies over at the Golden Horseshoe, or enjoying live jazz on New Orleans square, you're sure to have a good time.
We went a couple weeks ago with my parents, and as a special treat my brother James drove all the way from BYU to meet us there! You cannot imagine the children's delight when they got off "It's A Small World" and found Uncle James standing there!
I don't know what it is about walking through the entrance gate that makes you want to take a picture, but we always feel compelled.
The tulips along Main Street were lovely!
Annabelle looking very apropos in her Tink green seeing as though it was St. Patrick's Day!
The children not so sure about rowing the canoes, but they did really well!
We stayed the night with the intention of going on Friday, but found out it was the first Friday blocked to annual pass holders for the summer. So we found ourselves with a whole day to spend in Orange County. My mom took us to a deli that she waitressed at during college. It is a Jewish delicatessen that serves crisp "new" pickles and huge sandwiches! This is the triple decker sandwich with pastrami and swiss on rye that Adam and I ordered. Holy smokes, it was good!
The most random thing ever was finding an LDS tithing slip laying in the parking lot of the Jewish deli. Ha! We just had to take a picture:Family, good food, and Disneyland... that's basically Heaven in my book.
