Saturday:

For the first Saturday in a couple of months, there wasn't a move that Adam needed to help out with or birthday parties or other activities lined up. All we had was James' soccer game. It was such a beautiful day outside, so we sat on the front porch swing for a good long time, watching the kids ride their bikes. And we lounged about the house, not doing much but carving our pumpkins. It was fantastic! In the evening, we got a sitter and went to Gina's for dinner (one of our favorites, the homemade butternut squash ravioli is to-die-for!) and took a stroll on the pier. We all haven't been feeling super well, so it was a nice relaxing day for all of us.
