The 31st of October:

Halloween is one of my favorite holiday's.
Reason #1: you get to dress up!
Reason #2: You get copious amounts of candy!
I mean, you knock on people's doors wearing really anything you want and all you have to say are three little words, and they will give you candy. Add in roasted pumpkin seeds, warm apple cider, and witches pumpkin stew, and it's a pretty fantastic holiday.

Annabelle had a party in her class at pre-school on Friday.

Later in the evening, we headed to the church Halloween party. A chili fest and trunk-or-treat are always a good time! Here is Cinderella hanging out with her friend Bo Peep:
And on Halloween night, we trick-or-treated with my mom in my parents neighborhood and then came home to thousands (and I'm not exaggerating) of people swarming the streets of our neighborhood.  I walked out front with our biggest bowl full to the brim with candy, handed out only one piece each, and it was gone in probably 10 minutes. It was an insane amount of people! After we ran out of candy, we put up a sign and then just sat out on the front porch people watching and talking to neighbors.

Hope you had a chilling, scary, treat-filled All Hallows Eve, as well!!

Your kiddos look great! Annabelle's Cinderella costume is so lovely, and James' Ironman costume is super cool. Glad they had fun!
