graduation & the big 3-0:

We made a whirlwind trip up to Utah for my brother's graduation from college!

We left Tuesday night, and made it to Barstow where we called it quits and stayed the night. We woke up & drove all day, arriving in Provo in the late afternoon. We went to dinner with my parents & brother at Cracker Barrel. Yummy!

Thursday, we met my sister & my in-laws at Archibald's Restaurant in Gardner Village for my birthday lunch celebration! We ate delicious food & walked around the fun little shops at the Village. 

Thursday afternoon was the Brigham Young University's Baccalaureate with Dallin H. Oaks speaking in the Marriott Building.  

Afterwards, we had a quick dinner at Cafe Rio & then my mom and Kristen took me to a Celtic Women concert in Salt Lake for my birthday. James & Adam came too, while my dad stayed with the kids. It was great fun!!

 Friday we were up early for the graduation ceremony. James did a great job & we are so proud of him! 

We celebrated with lunch at Tucano's, a Brazilian restaurant.

We left Friday afternoon, getting home in the wee hours of the morning. It was such a short trip, and we were pretty tired for a couple days afterwards. But it was worth it to see James graduate from BYU & to be together as a family!
