The Lyman's went to Mammoth together for 4th of July week. Adam's mom & dad and his brother Chris & family came from Utah. And his brother Jason & all his family came from Monterey. It was so much fun & so beautiful!

One day, we drove over Tioga Pass into Yosemite. Chris' wife, Maren, was raised in Utah & had never been there. I can't imagine what it would be like to see it for the first time as an adult. I've been going to Yosemite every year since I was a baby. It's like another home. I love it.
We hiked to Devil's Postpile & Rainbow falls.
Mono Lake was amazing. It has much more buoyant than the ocean because of the salt & mineral content in the water. Chris, Maren, Adam, & I swam out to the middle & floated straight up!

We rode our bikes from the top of Mammoth, down into the valley. It was gorgeous & exhilarating with pine trees & little streams trickling along our path.
We met everyone at the 4th of July parade...
And spent the rest of the day playing in the pool, enjoying family, eating homemade pulled pork sandwiches & ice-cream for dinner, & watching the fireworks show over the lake.
