A local farm invited the whole community to come & have fresh roasted corn for free to celebrate their first crop of corn! James & Anna absolutely die for roasted corn, so there was no stopping us.
We visited with the chickens, feeding them old corn shucks. There was a small worm on James' corn shuck, and the chicken gobbled that down in a flash while sort of nibbling on the rest of the shuck. Guess chickens like meat best of all.....
It was incredibly generous of this little farm stand & I couldn't help feeling so blessed to be a part of it. Also, being a mom to these two is the best. They are amazing & so sweet. And again, I couldn't help feeling blessed to have them. To have this opportunity to raise them & be with them all the time.
Doing things as simple as this.
