Easter was a quiet, stay at home kind of a day because of General Conference. The children hunted for eggs in the morning and my mom & I cooked ham, au gratin potatoes, & cream pies together for dinner. We got all dressed up & went to the church to watch the last session of conference, as per tradition...but somehow no one thought to snap a picture!
Now we have a week of break from school. We spent the first day at the beach with friends, and today it has sprinkled all day. The kids spent the morning bouncing back & forth between fighting or being entertained with an electronic device. It was driving me crazy! So Annabelle & I took a walk together in the rain with our umbrellas. She caught droplets in a baggie to bring home to feed her planted-at-school carrot seeds which have a sunny spot in the kitchen window.
I suppose we're off to a good start.
