My sister & her family and my brother & his family came for Thanksgiving and we had such fun playing all week. Shopping, swimming, good food, football, watching movies, & playing games together.
We explored the little town of Harmony to see the glass shop. Unfortunately they were not blowing glass right as we were there, but I've seen them do it before, and it is fascinating!
We stopped at Cayucos beach on the way home, and watched the sun set while the kids splashed in the waves.
My brother's little baby girl Ensley is scrumptious. We spent the weekend eating her up! She's just too darling!
We had a delicious Thanksgiving dinner in Cambria & visited with the elephant seals afterward. Beautiful!
Here is Annabelle with cousins Megan & Kimberly:

My brother, James, read to us from one of my favorite books about the First Thanksgiving. A story of the Allerton family on the Mayflower, their struggles as they settled at Plymouth, and the joyous feast of gratitude with the Indians who had been of so much help to them. All that they endured for freedom, religious freedom. I can't tell you how grateful I am for them, and for the founders of this country. For the freedoms we enjoy everyday, my wonderful family, good friends, and our Savior, Jesus Christ.
These verses in Psalms are beautiful and fit my sentiments precisely:
Psalm 30 verse 4: Sing unto the LORD, O ye saints of his, and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness. Verse 12: To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever.
