Christmas has come & gone, and we are already finishing up January of this New Year! But I still wanted to document our lovely Christmas. We traveled to Utah to visit grandparents & cousins, and what fun we had! I love Christmas! It really is the most special time of year, filled with good will & cheer.
We had a delightful week of skiing, shopping, eating yummy food, & being together as family.
On our way up, we met in Salt Lake to see the Christmas lights at Temple Square.
Christmas Eve was at my in-laws where we had warm soup with bread, & opened presents.
We went to church on Christmas morning, to my in-law's ward, and were awed by the most beautiful choir presentation. It was such a special Christmas program, so much more so by sharing it with family. We came home & opened more presents!
Then we gathered at my bro & sis-in-law, Chris & Maren's, for homegrown ham dinner & pumpkin pie. We spent the afternoon by the warm fire, playing games & chatting.
Playing in the snow with cousins...the children's favorite part!
James & Anna skiied for their first time, and had SO much fun! They are hooked, and want to see how many times we can go this winter!
It was truly beautiful in every way. Cache Valley, with it's rugged mountains, all white with a blanket of snow. It's one of my very most favorite places!
On the drive home, I had one last Utah-only errand (shopping) to do before we left it all behind, and so we stopped at the St. George Temple too. So beautiful!
Until next time, wonderful Utah!
